“Timberdoodles” Kids Walk in Belmont
Saturday, March 16 @ 6:45 pm - 7:45 pm
The American Woodcock is an unusual upland shorebird whose unique courtship display is really something to see! Join us as we listen and look for woodcocks and other nocturnal creatures. Bring a kid and bring your enthusiasm! Be sure to dress for the weather because we will stand in place for a bit to listen for the calls and look for the flight of the woodcock. Bring a flashlight and wear appropriate footwear for walking on trails, and through grassland which may be muddy.
This walk is for kids aged 5-12 with an accompanying parent or parents. Group size is limited.
