Residents and Migrants at Appleton Farms
Sunday, May 19 @ 8:30 am - 10:30 am
Appleton Farms provides a unique blend of grassland, mixed forest, and wetland habitats that are home to a wide diversity of breeding birds. This leisurely hike will cover about three miles of easy, relatively flat terrain. Some species we are likely to see/hear include Eastern Bluebird, Bobolink, and Savannah Sparrow. Restrooms are available near the main parking lot.
