Checklist Comments: This was a joint BBC-Menotomy club walk. It wasn’t cancelled as it had rained about 5:30 am & then stopped completely. Cloudy & cool 45 to 50. We went from Shaw’s to Moody St. Moody St. to Prospect St. has been closed for DCR repairs which may last all summer. It must have just closed Monday or Tuesday as it was open on Saturday with no signs indicating closing which I thought was going to begin on May 6, 2024.

Canada Goose 19 Some nesting pairs haven’t had hatches yet. We saw 4 goslings jump down about 50 feet into the water from the remains of a bridge abutment. It was amazing to see. Photo of the last 2 to jump and them in the water. Unfortunately, I didn’t take photo of the entire abutment for an idea of how high up it was.
