We will explore various hot-spots on the refuge for fall migrants. The walk will then continue to other nearby locations based on current reports. Anything is possible during fall migration! Note that an entrance fee or pass is required to enter Parker River NWR.

We will hike at an easy pace through easy to moderate trails in search of early spring arrivals in a variety of marsh, field, and woodland habitats. We will hike the Beach Loop and Quansett Trail. Mostly flat trails, but a mix of sandy, rocky, and muddy areas. We will look for migrants and breeders in a variety of habitats. If there is further interest we will continue to other nearby areas for any specialty species of interest.
