“Hidden” Nature on the Jamaicaway / Arnold Arboretum
May 22, 2022
Co-sponsored by Outdoor Afro and the Brookline Bird Club.
Pre-registration is required for this walk.
Walk leader Kaitlin Smith from Outdoor Afro will story the grounds we traverse by sharing about some of the ecological, culinary, medicinal, and folkloric dimensions of the plants we meet along the way.
Walk leaders Bob Mayer and Kathy Dia from the Brookline Bird Club will share their knowledge of the birds that we encounter, their behavior and songs. Loaner binoculars will be available.
This is a morning walk, and actual walk times and meeting place will be sent upon registration.
Outdoor Afro members can register at https://www.meetup.com/Outdoor-Afro-Boston/
Others can register by emailing kdia@brooklinebirdclub.org.
