Ipswich River Wildlife Sanctuary
Saturday, May 11 @ 4:00 pm
We will walk 3 to 4 miles on slightly hilly trails to check out resident species in the Sanctuary’s woodlands, wetlands and fields. We will look for resident warblers, Eastern Bluebirds, up to five species of woodpeckers, vireos, Baltimore Orioles, and Rose-breasted Grosbeaks. We will also spend time listening and scanning the marsh for Wood Duck, Glossy Ibis, Marsh Wren, Virginia Rail, and Sora, with owls and woodcock possible late in the day.
