Salem Woods
Sunday, June 2 @ 2:00 pm - 4:30 pm
Listen carefully. An afternoon walk in the woods, with the trees full of leaves and thickets as dense as ever, we will focus on birding by ear. The distance and difficulty of this walk will be adjusted for the attendees and will range from one to two miles with easy to moderate incline on marked dirt trails. Expect to hear Baltimore Oriole, Common Yellowthroat, Swamp Sparrow, Rose-breasted Grosbeak, Great Crested Flycatcher, and Marsh Wren. All skill levels welcome. Loaner binoculars available. Bug spray recommended. Ears required.
