This walk is co-sponsored by the Lowell Parks and Conservation Trust. The Concord River in winter can be a rich spot for birds as it tumbles and meanders toward its confluence with the Merrimack. We will look for wintering ducks and gulls that use the open water for feeding and we might even see a Bald Eagle. This two-hour walk is suitable for beginners and those with limited mobility as the path is flat and paved but as this is winter, be prepared for the weather and potentially icy/snowy footing. The Lowell Parks and Conservation Trust would like to limit the group size to 20 participants. Please visit their website to sign up (there is no fee) –  https://lowelllandtrust.org/duck-walk-at-the-concord-river-greenway/
