Concord - Great Meadows Concord Unit, Entrance Rd, Concord, MA, United StatesWe will walk easy trails looking for shorebirds, ducks, wading birds, rails, and nesting songbirds. This is also a great time to look for butterflies and other interesting insects. Note that entrance fee or pass is required.
Mass Audubon Rough Meadows, Rowley (POSTPONED 1 week to July 20th due to rain)
Rowley - Rough Meadows Patmos Road, Rowley, MA, United StatesWe walk through the sanctuary looking for shorebirds and other marsh specialties. Targets will be waders, breeding songbirds, Saltmarsh Sparrows, and maybe even a lucky Seaside Sparrow. The walking is moderate and trails are accessible. It may be warm and there will be bugs!

Squantum – Quincy
Squantum - Mosswetusset Hummock East Squantum Street, Quincy, MA, United StatesWe'll check the marshes and the mudflats in Squantum for shorebirds, starting at Mosswetusset Hummock and visiting other spots nearby. BBC field trips are open to all participants. Unless otherwise stated, all trips are free to attend and do not need preregistration.
