We will walk easy trails looking for shorebirds, ducks, wading birds, rails, and nesting songbirds. This is also a great time to look for butterflies and other interesting insects.  Note that entrance fee or pass is required.

Great Meadows NWR, Concord with Limited Mobility Option

We will walk slowly looking for rails, shorebirds, wading birds, and migrating Common Nighthawks. The first portion of the walk is .6 miles round trip. Those to wish to join us on an extended walk with permission to enter private property, to look for Night-Herons. Note that entrance fee or pass is required.

Danehy Park, Cambridge

Join us for an urban birding trip. A small marsh, grasses, and open fields often attract unexpected birds in this setting. All are welcome, including beginners and those who historically have not been included in birding! Loaner binoculars available for use during this trip.

Franklin Park – Scarboro Pond

BBC field trips are open to all participants. Unless otherwise stated, all trips are free to attend and do not need preregistration. You do not need to be a club member to attend, though we hope you will join.
